Our leadership
Founder and Managing Director
After experiencing financial turmoil in his family during the dot-com bubble, Nicholas Crown dedicated his career to managing risk as an institutional fixed income trader. He founded the first Fixed Income Arbitrage desk at UBS in New York and became the youngest Director at the bank by 2014. Previously, Nicholas was a VP at Barclays Capital in Futures trading, specializing in bond basis arbitrage. He began his career as a crude oil and natural gas clerk at the New York Mercantile Exchange.
Through this experience, Nicholas saw how big-box brokerage firms relied on one-size-fits-all products that left investors exposed. Determined to change that, he built an advisory dedicated to delivering personalized, institutional-grade portfolio design bringing the discipline of Wall Street directly to families seeking more than mass-market solutions. With this mission, he founded Revise in 2023.
As Managing Strategist, Nicholas frequently engages directly with clients. He holds a degree in Applied Economics from Cornell University, cum laude, and resides in Chicago.
